Medical disclaimer.
The information on this site is provided to help you understand facial surgery and decide whether to begin a conversation. It is education, not medical advice.
This is not medical advice
Nothing here is a diagnosis, a treatment recommendation, or a substitute for an in-person evaluation. Do not act on it in place of speaking with a qualified surgeon about your own face.
Using this site does not create a patient relationship
Reading these pages or submitting the form does not make you a patient. That relationship begins only at a formal consultation, after your history and goals have been reviewed.
Individual results vary
Surgical outcomes depend on your anatomy, your healing, and many factors no website can predict. Longevity figures, such as the ten to twelve years commonly described for a deep plane facelift, are ranges reported in the literature, not promises. Every surgery carries risk, and no outcome can be promised.
Before you decide
A facelift is surgery. Candidacy is assessed individually, and the risks, the recovery, and the alternatives are discussed with you directly before anything is planned. If the procedure is not right for you, you will be told so.
